Easy Sautéed Cabbage
This is good with pork chops or ribs.
(Prep Time: 20 minutes. Serves 4)
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 cup celery, chopped
1 medium green bell pepper, seeded and chopped
1 small onion, chopped
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
3 cups cabbage, shredded
In a heated skillet add the oil and sauté the celery, green pepper, onion, salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring often. Add cabbage, cover and cook 5 minutes more, stirring once or twice. Serve warm.
