Steak & Mushrooms Dijon
This doesn't take a whole lot of effort to prepare, and is easy on the budget.

(Serves 4)

1 lb. top round steak, sliced into strips
2 tablespoons cooking oil
2 cups fresh button mushrooms, sliced
1 medium onion, sliced
1 can (10¾ oz.) cream of mushroom soup
½ cup water
2 tablespoons prepared brown mustard

In a large skillet,  heat the oil over medium heat. Brown the steak, stirring often; remove and set aside.

Add sliced mushrooms and sliced onion to the skillet; sauté until tender. Add cream of mushroom soup, water, and prepared brown mustard. Bring to a boil, then return the beef to the  mix and heat thoroughly.
